American Catur introduces an innovative take on the traditional Chaturanga board game, creating a new gaming experience for enthusiasts.

American Catur represents a modern interpretation of Chaturanga, with chess being its close relative. This fresh concept breathes new life into Chaturanga, reflecting present-day military structures with unique piece assignments—The Queen represents the Army, the Bishop embodies the Air Force, the Knight symbolizes the Navy, the Rook/Castle mirrors the Marines, the Pawn represents the Coast Guard, and the King embodies the President.

What sets American Catur apart in its category is the strategic element of launching offensive and defensive maneuvers through dice rolls. Offensive bombs are initiated by rolling a 6-sided die when targeting your opponent vertically (columns), while defensive bombs are activated by rolling an 8-sided die for horizontal attacks (rows). The flight paths determined by the dice roll control the capture and elimination of game pieces through different bomb types like Biological, Poison, Atomic, and Hydrogen strategically placed on the board's perimeter.

American Catur offers a challenging single-player mode against an advanced computer opponent known as the War Machine. Engaging with this opponent helps hone your skills for future matches against human players.
